I'll get out there in the garage and get this done
Hey Kruz, your welcome to use my Garage. Just checked it's 22F with a trickle of heat on. You know, just enough warmth to take your jacket off while we work, Lol.

Superbike Supply has these in stock now and has listed them for sale on their site. However, I got a better price PM'ing them through zx10r.net. Mine shipped today.

You should have your own section for here for hot internet buying tips. "Dogo's corner."
Are we talking about a paid position? We'd have do somethin' bout that title... I prefer the title, "Just The Tip".
Kidding aside, I've already given the best tip, more than once, in this thread.

BUT....I can't believe yer waiting till...Friday.If it were me...I'd want that sucker in there IMMEDIATELY just to see what it was gonna do!The suspense is gonna kill us here...you know that.
I normally would be going crazy to get this on my bike but I think it being so cold has dampened my enthusiasm just a bit. The thermometer says it's up to 46 F right now so I probably will get it done this afternoon after I get off work.
Full test report on here by Monday.

Let us know how that works out for you on the bigger bike. If mine cranks well in the cold on my Honda, I'm gonna replace all my batteries with Shorai......except the cruiser. At 700 lbs I don't think it's worth the effort puttin that big girl on a diet.

Ok, I got her in there and she cranked much stronger than the two year old oem yuasa lead acid that was in there. No comparison and this was at 45 f. Full installation report coming with pics and pointers. Buy one now!

Rook that pic was taken at the time the Battery came out of my bike? I too ordered this new battery. When it gets here I will weigh all three side by side 4 a compare. I'm sure Dogs will in before mine. Maybe he will post the same. I'm eager to see how it starts up here. Lol

Oops, missed that. Just curious, was the battery acclimated to the 45 degrees? Or just cold bike and the batt came outta your nice warm house? Didn't hook it up to your zx14 just for the sake of science?

Good point Dogo, I would say maybe one hour cold soak at 45 F before the first crank. I'm thinkin that is plenty of time to equalize temps or at least close to it. After that, I rode it, stopped at Starbucks for liquid nourishment, maybe a 45 minute cold soak there at 46 F air temp and then cranked it again without issues, very fast starts everytime.
The acid test should be up there, you're probably a lot cooler than we are. Did you get the 18 or 14 amp hour for your ZX-14? If you got the 18 a/h especially, I'll be real surprised if you have any cold start issues. If you do, leave the headlight on for one to two minutes and crank.
No I didn't try it on my 14, too much hassle, I just wanted to go ride and check out the endless power wheelies with all that weight off of there.

Unseasonably warm here right now. Looks like high's in the 50's lows in the 40's for this weekend, when I should be testing the batteries. So, I'll have to put them in the freezer to really test 'em. I ordered an 18 a/h for my zx14 and a 14 a/h for my zx10r. Figured I'd hook the 14 a/h up to the zx14 first, however, just to get these guys some test results. If it starts the big ninja w/o problems, there definitely shouldn't be an issue with the 18 a/h. I'll have test the 18 a/h the next day. My bike is too new to just be starting up, shutting down, and then starting again. Once it's runnin', I'm gonna run it through a complete heat cycle.
