I need a puller or a slide hammer but had no room for either.
Nasty, is that puller for some of your farm equipment?

Haha I built that to pull a frozen pin on a three point hitch where one of the lift arms mounted to the tractor. No room in that spot for a traditonal puller so I made my own to get in there. I eventually got it out, it did work but I destroyed that puller in the process.

Specially not with my scarred up mits. My buddy C-w helped me do all of it! Thanks bud! He was there with the right tool and the right solution when we did not have the right tool. Invaluable help. That's the 8th or 9th time we have disassembled together and as a team we re-assembled today with not a tab wrong in about 16 minutes. It was fast and slick. Thank you little Cw! (That's wolfs nickname for ya!) the plugs are a bugger but they really need to be done as recommended by book. Oh! and shout out and thanks to NASTY!! got ya on the horn with a quick help out twice! really important to be gentle and firmly straight with your UPWARD pressure when wriggling the plug coils free! thanks nasty! Everything in synch and a fresh set of plugs and oil after all the tuning abuse was like a huge gasp of fresh air for Priscilla! Nice vigorous new attitude! :)

Yeah! That was my plan. Do ya think I should check it sooner? Or 15000 about right?

Only one way to know! I will do mine this winter with less than 15000 that way its done and I dont have to do it when I'd rather be riddign. I'm sure a couple gotta be outta spec or close the valves are fully seated into the seats by now. Did Kawi leave a little slack in there at the factory? They were dead on with plugs.

Well, spit. I will do it this January then. Ur right. I have been rapin the shit out of her too. I don't mind the maintenance. It's freakin fun. Look! We get to work on these incredible machines! Wow! We are freakin lucky!!! Better than all the crap I've ever worked on by about a gazillion times! I love giving her care and attention to detail. No one does it like the person with the highest vested interest in a flawless outcome. I love my Priscilla! Thank you for your help today Nasty! And hey bud! I have to say, every single bit of tech advice that you have offered me HAS BEEN SPOT ON!

Yup C. Valves every 15K miles by the book. I must have just the right shaped hands. I never have any trouble with the plugs. You gotsto has der Chineee hands. lmao (hey... I just learnt to speak Hub) rofl. I just love getting my hands all over the private parts of my big boys too. There's no greater sense of pride and ownership.
Nasty, not sure about the 2012-2013, but I found just about all the valves of my 07 except a few were all around .001 mm tight. And yes.... I still changed them all to spec. I'm just pedantic that way.

I like ur HubSpeak Sweet! :)) and yes man, the sense of accomplishment that I feel when doing one of these little jobs never fades. I always sit back and look at her and just go ahhhhhhh. Some random tech would not do it the same. Unless that tech was Hub or Kofla or one of us! Lol

All you need is a source of pure, compressed oxygen and a pipe... high carbon content preferred. Steel works but iron is better.
The technique in the vid is called scarfing. Very messy. And ouchy. I have the burn scars.
