Here are MY real weights give or take from a cheap scale. Those #'s for the TRI-Rs are Amazing. What prices did you get ?

The first two pics of you Marchecicnis are both front wheel? They look like almost the same weight.

So you have about 30 lbs of wheel according to your scale. I would guess that larger scale is reading high on the low end. I think that's how springs work. high at he bottom low at the top and pretty close in the middle. The much talked about Sportrider artical weighs them in about 23 lbs. Also about the best moment of inertia of any of the aluminum wheels they tested. No info on the Tri-R. I don't think they were making Tri-Rs when that article was written.

I will be surprised if the Carros are as light as I am guessing. It is just a guess. I can't believe I can't find more objective info on this other than what manufacturers publish. I guess if I get the Tri Rs there will be. My bikeland thread comes up when I do a search. This one is now also coming up. I guess it is not about the Schnitz nitro busa anymore LOL!

The price I am seeing for Tri-Rs is $2039.00. Sometimes $1800 comes up but that is for a left over set of CBR wheels.

No, just under 20lbs for both together on one house scale lol. 30lbs, give me my money back.

Second pic is front and Third pic is rear 5th is both together.

The much talked about Sportrider artical weighs them in about 23 lbs. Also about the best moment of inertia of any of the aluminum wheels they tested.

When bearing are installed sounds about wright,,, give or take.

Good Read Here

yeah, that's the one. Wish they could include the Tri-R.

I like those white Marvics but they only come in 16.5". Race rubber only fits that rim.

Final guesstimate is that the Tri-Rs are gonna weigh about 1 lb more than what we have here. If so the back wheel will be a bit more than 1/2 lb more than BSTs. The front would be about the same as BST. We'll see how close I come to nailing that on the head.

If you come in at the #'s shown below it's a win win. Not to mention the money. Amazing really.

Carazzeria Tri-R
Front 3.5”/17” rim only............................................6.1 lbs
bearings (same as WW, a guess).....................................0.45 lbs
Rear 6”/17” rim only..............................................8.5 lbs
Sprocket Carrier (same as Shane’s??)...............................1.79 lbs
Bearings (same fig as WW)..........................................1.15 lbs
total............................................................ 17.99 lbs

Funny, last year at around same time We were talking about Rims,,,, What is Santa getting the Rook this year lol. I'm guessing a 40 shot and some light weight wheels to start,, Weeeeee.

272hp but look at the torque Smooooookin 170 Wow wow wow,,,, Naaa you don't want that lol.
