Here are MY real weights give or take from a cheap scale. Those #'s for the TRI-Rs are Amazing. What prices did you get ?
The first two pics of you Marchecicnis are both front wheel? They look like almost the same weight.
So you have about 30 lbs of wheel according to your scale. I would guess that larger scale is reading high on the low end. I think that's how springs work. high at he bottom low at the top and pretty close in the middle. The much talked about Sportrider artical weighs them in about 23 lbs. Also about the best moment of inertia of any of the aluminum wheels they tested. No info on the Tri-R. I don't think they were making Tri-Rs when that article was written.
I will be surprised if the Carros are as light as I am guessing. It is just a guess. I can't believe I can't find more objective info on this other than what manufacturers publish. I guess if I get the Tri Rs there will be. My bikeland thread comes up when I do a search. This one is now also coming up. I guess it is not about the Schnitz nitro busa anymore LOL!
The price I am seeing for Tri-Rs is $2039.00. Sometimes $1800 comes up but that is for a left over set of CBR wheels.
