What a difference a week makes. Last week autumn peak colors were in full swing, various shades of red, yellow and orange. Today, most trees have shed their leaves ready for winter.
You're right Kofla, the fall colors are definitely gone. A month ago the colors were especially vibrant.
Took this photo a few hours ago at Black Diamond, WA. It began as a coal mining town in the early 19th century about 30 miles SE of Seattle. The larger of the two white buildings behind the front of the bike is the town jail from ~1912. For November in this area, the weather has been pretty decent for riding- sunny and mid 50's.
