Hello all. I have been on here a while but never introduced myself. Last year I bought a white 2013 14r. In March a minivan pulled out in front of me and totaled it. I received a small bruise on my left leg and that was it. To bad I can't say the same for the bike. Insurance paid it off plus a little extra so now I have a 2015 gray and green. I have already done quite a few mods: power bronze radiator protector, Engine ice coolant, front axle slider/spool, green halos, dark smoke double bubble windscreen, bar risers, power supply to charge phone, Rostra electric cruise control, t-rex frame sliders, green bar ends, ram tem mount phone/gps holder, green euro style front turn signals, smoke rear turn signal lenses, smoke integrated taillight/turn signal, fender eliminator, Coffman's exhaust with green tips, green swing arm spools, and LED strips. I also painted the heel guards to see if I liked the look and do so this winter I plan to have the heel guards and exhaust tips powder coated to match the fins.

Welcome to the forum! How loud is that exhaust? Sorry to hear about the '13, far too many of these beauties end their lives so early. At least you came out of it pretty much unscathed.

A lot of the times when people report accidents here it's breaking news and their posting pics of their broken bones and bikes. So it's difficult to ask about the accident, and what went wrong and that sort of thing. In your case, obviously legally they were at fault. Do you think as a rider there was any failure on your part of riding defensively? Not anticipating?

Wow MJP! Nice bike! My introduction will be a bit more low key, which means my overwhelmingly stock 2012 14 won't really drop any jaws with photos. I will however bore you with some personal info. I've been riding for 30 years and still can't put down the sport bikes. I look forward to drawing knowledge from the pool here and lend emotional support for old fat people who still ride these beasts. :)
