An 8.50 true street bike isn't something special anymore man. It was 10 years ago. Your not talking about grudge territory until your on into the 7s. Anyways.. I've already got a kit on my bike and it would only take a tiny little shot of spray to push into the 8.40 range at my current wheelbase. A 2 pound nitrous bottle is enough for 8 or so passes with a 20 pill so that'd be fine for your event. Again... Keep us updated.

It's possible with nitrous on a stock motor gen 2.

Ha ha ha ha ha.... Your telling me this guys wants us to believe a STOCK motor went a 2.87 second back half? Does he think everyone is stupid enough to believe that? That's turbo and heavy nitrous back half numbers Bad. You and I both know that.

yes he does not only him but his buddies also . they are still posting to this on FB today . they swear stock motor and this pass was a 1 of pass that night . the pass before was a 8.60@164mph with a 1.59 60ft. I can't see how the timing lights would be off all the way down the track and his reaction time was a .080 on his fast pass . I know at some tracks if you leave on a full tree thinking it a pro tree your ticket is screwed up by.400 . so if you run on average 8.60 it would give you a 8.20 and if average a 1.50 60ft it would show a 1.10 60ft with a -.400 RT but that would not explain the mph. and we talking royal purple raceway not some outlaw track

If he's going 8.60 with a 60' as slow as 1.59, then that's proof enough that it isn't a stock bike. I'm having to go mid 1.3s to get into the 8.60s and mph is 155 or so.

I bet soon enough parents will be able to buy their unathletic kids bionic limbs so that they can compete too! Imagine the possibilities! Little Johnny used to be the sloweset kid on the block, but look at him go now! Thanks Bionic Limbs!

No Rook. Bad literally has zero control of his bike as it accelerates. It's an automatic clutch similar to what the little kids go karts use. Just twist the throttle and it drives itself. They were originally developed for bikes that made more horsepower than stock clutches would hold. The centrifugal forces created by the spinning engine causes the "fingers" of the clutch to press down onto the pressure plate harder than what is possible with springs. This allowed more power to be transferred to the transmission and therefore the rear tire. The stock 14 clutch with heavier springs will hold around 300 horsepower. We started seeing a lot of guys buying automatic clutches that didn't have a mechanical reason to do so. It turns out that they just couldn't ride and instead of learning to do so they just threw money at the bike. It used to be that the best rider would usually win. That's just not the case anymore. It's sad times in the bike world. I'll go 7s on a hand clutch soon enough and ask everyone who's slower on a slider why exactly they think they need it.

MY no control bike is still faster quicker than yours even with a 300lb fat man riding it

That vid is totally sick;)They have to prep the rear that much?Seems a bit overkill? They were still slidin on their takeoffs on several runs there.

That guy pushing down on the rear wheel there...what's that about?

It's something that guys do to feel like they are helping. It has no purpose. I have been to grudge events like that where I literally brushed 20 people with my bar ends to get to the line. Then there are the random idiots that are tapping my back and poking my tire and all other kinds of nonsense. I'm surprised that there haven't been more injuries and deaths in the sport of grudge.

Yeah and hitting the rev limiter in first gear from the tire spinning. Among other reasons, I see why they say never use NOS in first and second gear.

An automatic clutch might win races but it seems like that would take a lot of the fun out of it. But...

how much you willing to pay . racing ain't cheap
that says it all. If it's faster and you can afford it, that's what you do.

All kidding aside Bad I'm glad you made it through the season incident free. Hopefully you won't find anything wrong during the tear down.
