I want to know where all that money goes? No such thing as speeding LOL
No such thing as careless, wreckless, dangerous driving.
The home has more wrecks with careless, wrecked my favorite pan, you bitchewed her out. It's now dangerous to open your mouth around me 'while homing.'

the most dangerous ticket on there is stunting
from the words of a traffic rcmp..
stunting is anything that distracts another driver
so giving the finger, flashing lights behind a slow vehicle to get them to move. can be interpreted as anything.
a wheelie would fall under careless
even though it takes great control of the bike to perform..?
the 50k over is friggin scary instant court date
the bonneville box might not be such a bad idea.

no my concern is losing my class one licence
its not very hard to be going 50kph over on these bikes
im not interested in going to court to keep my licence
the system allows you to shut off the jammer before they shoot you again.
when i get it i will post the outcome. i know exactly where to test it
with the local sheriffs,,they are not exactly brilliant.
i plan on doing a lot of track days with my bikes this year
so i will try to behave on the street.
but yeh i believe the charge for a jammer is called "destruction of justice".

as long as it wont cause the laser to react in a telltale fashion. sounds like they would just lock a second fix on you after you knew you were being targeted but too late, you slowed down. if you were going 50 kph (~30mph)over, they might visually notice and quite possibly hear the rpm drop if they were paying attention. They might just stop you based on a visual assessment of your speed.

I hope i don't here stories about people getting stopped and searched for laser jammers. That's a little far fetched unless the cops would be awful sure they were going to find something. ...but better keep it in mind in case the same cop lasers on more than one occasion and can't ever get a lock. He's gonna know something's up.

,they are not exactly brilliant.

Yes, I am sure most simply rely on what their equipment tells them.

way back when radar detectors came out (musta been about 30 years ago), everyone was afraid of getting caught with them where they were illegal (and that was almost everywhere). Never heard it became much of a problem for people who used them in their cars.

that is the principle behind the jammer shutting down, slowing down.
the stories about police searching for jammers is very true out here.
i have not heard anything about bikes.
there's one guy near me with a busa who has his front jammer built into his mirror.
he hangs out at bike night on wednesdays.
im looking forward to seeing him.
for now will let the squids blast up and down the highways.
maybe the cops will have their fill.
(is that an actual shot of you on the track? im loooking forward to throwing mine around castrol this year)

Yup, 'tis I, the Rookster at Blackhawk Farms early last summer. Their first trackday is on the 18 and I'm planning to go into the dealership and drop my $130 tomorrow.

Just googled Castrol race track. WOW! You can do everything there. That is totally wonderful.

Thanks for the video
i think if i saw a big black 14 hunting me down on a straight away my a*&hole might pucker.
that was cool.
still to cold (pavement) to really ride out here.
straight line no problem.
but i think chicken strips suck and are usually a tell tale sign of a squid. :)

you ride safe as well Snuffy.

Youu have my full attention now. So these jammers do work? Years ago I heard, or read, sorry don't remember, but could have been in Motor Trend Magazine, as I subscribe, that they did not work. If they do work, can see me installing said item on my bike soon.

Arcangel, that is interesting to say the least. Looking forward to your updates as this goes on. In BC they take your ride, as well as your lic for just 40 k's over. That's really not much at all, pull out to pass a slow vehicle and your doing more than that usually.

Craig
That is insane.
I did Calgary to Cloverdale in 09 on race prepped gsxr1000.
Going was normal. Coming back was averaging 100mph plus in the mountains.
One of the best solo rides ever (for me that is).
I guess what im saying is the way control people is through fear.
Hey we are going to take your ride if.
Yeh well maybe youll need that Cesna to figure out where I am
these are 14s right.
Ill take a ticket at 15 to 20 over
Honestly though if the police will take your bike anyways and your licence?
Guess what I am doing?

I know first hand the shifter/jammers work for cars.
I just figured it would be a good safety net.

My two cents

well arc i ordered my jammer last night but I went a slightly different way lol doing more research I came across the ADAPTIV system Its still mfg by Blinder but tweaked for Adaptiv theres pros and cons between the 2 systems the cheetah comes with a toggle switch which you manually have to switch off after you slow down Adaptiv shuts off automatically settings are 3 sec, 7 sec or can be programed not to shut off. then rearms 1 min later

Cheetah has the led that mounts in the helmet. Adaptive mounts on the dash

cheetah has front and rear detection (std) Adaptiv front detection only (std) can add rear if needed

cheetah can add radar detector to the pkg for a total of $1300 oh and radar detector is not waterproof

adaptiv has developed their own radar/laser detector that is just as good but without all the bells and whistles is designed for bikes which is waterproof and the whole system from them cost me $800 heres the link

Adaptiv laser jammer

awesome, i got side tracked over that.
i went spoke to the head installer at a radio shop here.
long story short bought 9000 escort stealth mounted.
guy from m27 stopped answering questions
so?
i modded my 14 over the last two weeks
two bros exhaust, juicebox pro, hyper pro damper, puig so far
im happy
the speeding thing is no longer worrying me
i have done most highway runs holding a nice 140kph and no issues, no paranoia
stay out of the city and all is good
funny just after we talked see that axxhole on the r1 in british columbia?
made national news

I do not know about Canada, but it was a felony to use any type of jamming device in the States. Laws may have changed here, but doubt it. I would risk the ticket any day, rather than being caught with the jammer. Yes, odds are low, but not worth it IMO.

CA, CO, IL, MN, NE, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, and DC.

you may be thinking of radar jammers now they are illegal in all 50 states
