My baby: 2008 ZX14 CA model
There are two extra rubber tubes that need to be removed from the CA model in order to do the Tbody sync. Just mentioning in case you did not know.
2)
the adjuster screws circled in green are those to be used to
adjust the pairs 1-2, 3-4
No.
I'm looking at the service manual and here's how it looks to me:
The screws you have circled in green in Hub's pic are bypass screws. They are at the rear of the Tbodies below the fuel rail. These screws point toward the back of the bike. Here is the diagram from the service manual. The bypass screws are marked, (A). These are fine tuning screws. You do not need to touch these unless the vacuum of a bore is out of service limit, 258 +/- 10 mmHg. You would do this AFTER balancing the pairs, 1/2 and 3/4.
Throttle Body Vacuum Standard: 34.4 ±1.3 kPa (258 ±10 mmHg) at idle speed
The bypass screws are pointing to the upper left in this pic of the Tbody assy removed.
See the tubular projection with the rib on top? Each bypass screw head must be right at the end of that tube.

If the adjuster screw circled in red is the one to be used to adjust the two pairs then ... I really can't
see it!
Well, it's there! Mine is also an 08 and I have one. You see it right at the center of the T body assy right on top. Points toward the rear of the bike just like the bypass screws do. Yes, the screw you circled in red is the center adjuster screw and it is for balancing the pairs, 1/2 and 3/4. You want to have the highest vacuum of 1/2 to be the same as the highest vacuum of 3/4. According to the service manual, the Tbodies are synced as long as the highest vacuum of 1/2 is the same as 3/4. I do not know if there is any value to fine tuning the bypass screws to balance all 4 bores. The SM does not say that is necessary. Seems to me it would be desirable. Hub?
For bodies 1-2 (left side): I can't reach the screws with the stock tips, I'll have to make a longer tip
(likely a shortened drill tip)
I saw phillips tips of various lengths at Lowe's. There was one that looked about the right length ~inch and a half. You might have to hacksaw a couple down to the right length. Good luck on that. I hope that fancy Motion Pro pilot screwdriver works because that's what I will be using.
Also, do you have a "highly accurate" tachometer to hook up to the bike? I guess the stock tach is not considered to be highly accurate enough.
HUB or anyone, please coment on my coments because I am just going from the SM. I have never actually done one of these yet.
