Eray, I wonder if most people use the helmet lock? I have a 2008 zx and use my lock all the time. What else would you do?, carry your helmet or sit it on the bike and hope it is there when you come back. Tonight I put the stock pipes back on, I go back and forth between the Jardine slip ons and the stock pipes. Love the louder sound but hate it also.

BUN,
I didn't say I would buy a ticket to your funeral. Most people buy tickets to travel. How else would I get there (LOL). Does a hat conceal you? A helmet does. Do sunglasses conceal you? Your posted argument that a hat or glasses would be anything like a helmet that totally conceals your identity. I new I wasn't offending you. My apology was to anyone else for my language.
In the spirit of what this thread is about I did walk by my bike this morning and said sorry not today as I got in my car to drive to work.
Happy Wednesday.

Just bought the 5th (I think) set of tires for my 14R, finished wearing out the current ones on some super twisty roads in Oregon last month.
Zero tread remains on the sides, just a little left in the middle

I love super twisty roads in Oregon. Was down there third week in September with ten other riders tearing it up. I will need new tires before going back next year.

I did a run down to Baker City and back (500+ miles each way) last week on my 10R.
While the 14R is an excellent Sport-touring bike, the 10R is absolutely insane in the corners
Fastest trip ever...

Nice roads down there. What is it 188 corners? Sad with the fires they had down there this year. The group I ride with we do 129 from Washington into Oregon to Enterprise. Rattlesnake grade down to the Grande Ronde river then up the other side, man that is fun. Then we hit some Hells canyon stuff go through Halfway heading to Baker City. We end up in Condon at the end of the day. There is a pretty nice bit of road south of Mt Saint Helens on the way back home. One of our group low-sided off a corner on Grant Count 20 this year on his new Speed Triple. He was Ok, took 4 of us to pull his bike back up to the road. A lot of zip ties and he was able to continue. We warned him about the tar snakes and loose surface in some of the corners. He was lucky. So looking forward to going back again next year.

Did you machine them?
I remade the whole cap, made it taller to cover all the inside of the clip on. I'll put it on tonight.

I lowered the front and the back because I'm too short (5'5"). Wanted to keep bike stance as close to stock as possable. No difference in handling that I noticed but have much more control at a stop. Front end still leaves the ground in second gear. Love this bike!

Today ..... I double stacked bar risers. My bars are now 2" above standard and 3/4" closer to me. Suits my 5'8" frame.
TrashHauler,
Any interference at the windscreen? I have the 1" bar risers and it cuts it pretty close to hitting at full turn. Obviously this wouldn't effect riding but just curious.

I had to reshape the bracket for the brake reservoir and I rotated the throttle assembly back about 1/2 an inch. The when I put it on full lock to the left to engage the steering lick the throttle cables just touch the screen. Close up images below.
