Finally rode Madonna yesterday with the Cblast and lighter battery mod and i already thought this bike was great but now.... Madoonna is perfect! I love the smoothness and throttle response. She seems quicker and 3rd gear is absolutely the shit! Didnt ride her hard tho cuz the ground still isnt warm enough for good traction but my straights was amazing!! Thanks again Cblast!! U have a customer for life!!! Be safe everyone on the 2 wheels.

Stock '09 Gen I vs. that setup with a flash would go from about 167hp to 180hp.

Well. first time posting on here. I have a 2015 ZX14R 30TH Anniversary edition #265 of 300. 300 miles on the odo. Brocks titanium CT dual exhaust W/ air block off kit, front strap kit, lowering links, clutch mod "not installed yet" Brocks adjustable kickstand, CBLASTED ecu flash. and what can I say this thing is a rocket. I have no comparison to before and after the flash it was done when the bike was brand new we fired it up at the shop after pulling it out the crate and shut down and started pulling it apart. after installing the above parts and getting the ECU back. went for a test ride and WOW this is the best bike I have ever ridden. smooth enough to ride with my kids. and mean enough to outrun anything that has pulled up next to me. cannot thank you enough. keep up the good work. cant wait to get the launch control and QS installed next

A newbie to the ZX14 scene and to this forum. I'm overseas. While overseas I bought a 2014 ZX14R. I haven't seen it yet, but it's in my garage. Aside from the usual farkeling, I'm looking into exhaust options and the ecu flash you provide. Stock cans = fugly. I want to upgrade to a setup that's as quiet or almost as quiet as stock whether it be slip-on or full. I've read that a full exhaust takes the cat out of the equation which will make it louder by default. I've narrowed my choices down to Yoshi R77's, or the Graves setup (keeps the cats). Both systems have additional silencing tips. Any suggestions would be helpful since I'll end up doing both the flash and the exhaust at the same time. Thanks!

The cat is in the can, so either slips or full it goes away. CBLAST flash is great, there are other options. I went with CBLAST and it was simple and very quick turn around.

Sebastian, Thank you sir! I am glad I ran into you at Nels. With the Yosh slip-ons and the Cblast flash the beast is awake. OMFG I had know idea there could be that much more. It is like a new bike. You know when you get just that much closer to the edge of insanity but everything becomes clearer. That is what it feels like. One word (Confidence). So much better!
Hope to ride the PNW with you sometime this summer.

Man reading through this thread is giving me the itch to get my '11 ZX14 CBlasted. $300 definitely seems like an excellent price compared to the PC5 and a dyno tune and with what I've been reading on this thread the CBlast flash definitely seems like the way to go for my ZX14.

I do have some questions for you CBlast if you don't mind PM'ing me your answers when you get a minute:
1. How much downtime can I expect when I ship my ECU to you? I'm in Utah.
2. I understand you guarantee my satisfaction and if I no longer want the CBlast flash on my ECU you will put it back to stock, but do you provide additional support if there are any adjustments that need to be made to the tune? Is there any additional costs when making these adjustments?
3. What is the difference between your tune versus getting a dyno tune?

Thanks for your time CBlast!

RE: The Cblast Flash

Hello to all! 1st let me say that I understand that a lot of people have had a great deal of success with the CBlast flash, I talked to him early this year, I have a new 2013 ZX14R ABS model, anyway had it flashed early this month, now Im 44 years old and have had a lot of bikes, my last two was a 2002 new busa that I got in 02 and at the end of 03 I had Johnny cheese put a 1397 cc JE pistons I got from John Noonan, Yosh cams etc. 107/108 cams # hell of low end 196 HP/115 TQ, my other was new 2005 GSXR 1000, sold the busa last year to finish my LS Chevelle T56 magnum.
Anyway got the flash and paid shipping 2 day both ways(2nd time also), the bike ran great down low, more snap, sounded better, mid range was stronger, I went for a 40 min ride some 2 mile straights in the mix, I notice the top end was not as strong, no 2 gear lift off at 7k etc, so I Gmail him. I shared how all was great only the top end seems not as quick, its pulling but not like before, he told me to try 89 octane instead off 93 that should bring it back, Kawasaki says 91 or more that's what I run, My statement was it might ping, his statement hot summer months maybe, run 91 then when its hot and humid, WOW ! I live n East Texas, its hot all the time, I'm thinking this is not sounding right, is it possible to get a refund? Sure Cblast says, but why do you think something is wrong, I tried the bike a 2nd time its loading up when started then clears after you are riding, then he finally calls,(did not mind gmailing about the new launch control when he 1st had the ecm, more $$ less service) but when the customer says no its not right, and a refund would be better,(we did find out that he put tuning in for a pipe, when I said its bone stock, Arko pipe later) I'm not sending the ecm back and forth over, and over again. Then I ask can you put it back to stock? yes I can, no charge full refund, let me say anyone can make a mistake, even myself, so I'm thinking when I get the ecm back and my $400 bucks if the bike is running like before then, I will send him a $100 bucks for time and working with me somewhat(never told him, I wanted to see how this would go), I also refunded Herb from Sport bike powder coating $30.00
SEB sent me $330.00 but we did not agree on that, his response
$50.00 flash charge
$12.00 PayPal fees,(my thinking that's part of being a customer with PayPal)
$ 8.00 shipping (both times I placed a return paid shipping bag for 2 day for quick turn around) insurance he's saying, I will never know.
Again everybody makes mistakes, but poor service is just poor service, from now on IM dealing with guys like Johnny cheese( 3 hours away) and dyno test before and after, mail ordering is taken a chance, and I was blessed to get anything back I know that, this is not about $70.00 , its about doing what's right.
Thanks for listing.
1st post I now, IM a member of some other well known boards.

Anyway, the bike ran great down low, more snap, sounded better, mid range was stronger

rev, since 2006 I have been studying this bike on and off for 8 years, no pun intended. I still do not understand the inner functions who cares. All I know is enough reading between the lines of the shop manual, downloading racing factory software, messing with the tuning cells, watching how the handcuffing of the math computations gathered up my numbers and placed the cuff on the extreme side(s) of the board, and handed me an extrapolation notice saying; an number but not these numbers.

I notice the top end was not as strong, no 2 gear lift off at 7k etc,

No shit? That was WATT I was expecting from a member here to say. His was at a lower rpm. However, that's more than enough to answer my question and thanks for that, rev.

All I know is my flashfiddlefucking limped the bike as per your assfactor. The morning map is so fat, the water temp finally turns it off. Here's WATT just hit me. The pre-E can run full power and never have a hiccup. Flash wise:

1. A code saying the ECU is its own default number.
2. A hot flash that could not take the runs. Ask Smoke "The Hand" what that was all about?
3. A problem of a post-E that is so dead, I am assuming it can't even flip its own default code?
4. A rider with the code name, 'revs a lot' can distinguish a lot of high revs and counting all the flashing-flingear-flang-R's is down on power. Just ass eye suspected.

WATT Kind of power? FULL POWER!

NOLTT

Hub ! Hello 1st the name Revalot is from me being a minister, that's where Rev comes in, and I use to ride a lot, so Revalot came to mind,2nd I have been in the background watching, learning, Im a well known busa board member, and I know you and C blast/Seb has had some issues! I feel bad about what took place,Seb did flash it back to stock and all seems good, he offered to reflash for stock set up and remove the restrictions, and refund me in full, and if all was good just send the $ back,(I turned him down on that) but I was offended due to some of his reponse. I think he's a great guy, but when a person is spending his/her hard earned $400 dollars, I don't want to hear try a lower octane, etc. So with that said he lost a customer, I hope he continues to do well, just take better care of future customers.

An interesting handle none the less. Well, rev, I've been picking my tuner's brain and he's flashing and telling me his own horror stories and learned off those. He's more in the practical end of it like C. I'm more at the theory end so I can diagnose the unit or it's input components. Practical is swapping parts, where I can see more of the action and decipher if it's the unit or the aftmkt part upsetting the processing, phantom code (Grn's crank sensor vs cam sensor), etc.

"I don't want to hear try a lower octane, etc." That's where you have to work the abstract against MN (mother nature) better known as Penultimate

@Rev
- During our first communication you indicated to me you were purchasing a full brocks system and wanted to be flashed for that set-up and would it be okay to keep your stock mufflers with the flash until you had the full system on. (That was my mind set when approaching your flash)
- You were flashed and perfectly set-up for that. Yes, it would be fine to ride the stock pipes until install.
- Then, it turned out you were going to be keeping the bike stock for longer than expected and the flash didnt feel right with stock pipes.
- We discussed what was going on, you wanted your bike back to stock after discussing some options. No problem.
- I flashed you back to stock and returned your money minus the paypal fees that are not a part of the cost of the flash. I also paid insurance for your ecu during its return, you did not have any insurance with your pre-posted envelope, so I repackaged and added insurance for the safety of the ecu. I charged you $50 for my time.

If I lost a customer or offended you during this then I apologize. I felt I worked with you and was fair. I enjoyed chatting engines and horsepower with you and I hope the machine treats you well sir. My apologies that my services could not be of more use to you.

It appears your pm's are turned off. :) If you want to chat about the flash and options or whatever please feel free to gimme a shout.
With the flash for the Gen1 you will not need a PC and not need to add the cost of a custom tune on top of that. The tuning and adjustments are direct in the flash and I am always available for follow up support and I sort those out on a case by case basis when it comes to cost. I am always reasonable, willing to listen, and efficient with turnaround.

Just a side note, there are ways to send paypal without paying fees, if you send it the "wrong" way,
the other person on the other end will incur fees, that are NOT part of most businesses expenses,
this is different that eBay, were the seller always incurs fees ....
