What you failed to see in the link is that the SECRETARY of DEFENSE can use DeadlyForce and he has the authority to use biological warfare! Why do you need biological warfare during peacetime?

Considering the source (shtfplan.com) I would not be surprised if they cooked it all up from scratch.

On the other hand, the right of federal eminent domain has existed since the 1800s in the event of war or national threat.

Lincoln authorized the seizure of farms and industrial buildings during the Civil War to both augment northern production as well as to deny the Confederacy of goods and supplies.

Nothing new. Unlikely to be abused.

Posit this. Who in the U.S. Military is going to obey an order to tell a State's National Guard to stand down and allow the Federal Government to exert eminent domain on the State's assets?

Being a soldier once, and graduate of West Point, I can tell you there isn't a General or Admiral serving who would provide the muscle the government would need to do such a thing, unless the military thought a grave threat existed.

And once you've been shot (or even just shot at) not much qualifies as a grave threat back in the world anymore.

What you failed to see in my link was the fact that it's a law in case of war. It has been a law since Clinton. Obama just recently changed it to include Homeland Security, which didn't exist when Clinton was around. This is old and fake news.

You can blame the Democrats they are the ones that passed the law giving States the right to take private land for almost any public use. Then my Nazi State passed its own law making it nothing more than a pen stroke to do it.

I wouldn't shoot at the poor guys doing the work, they are just working stiffs like me. And I wouldn't shoot at the politicians because it would be a waste of expensive bullets. Not to mention they'd take my guns away from me.

But Adams et. al. were fking right when they wrote, while the Constitution was being drafted, that the Right of the People to keep and bear arms was important so that should the government become tyranical and oppressive (like that never happened before) the People would be able to join with the Militia to overthrow the tyrants and restore representative democracy.

And Jefferson's most astute observation was, arguably, any government large enough and powerful enough to give you everything you need, is also large enough and powerful enough to take everything away from you.

I have absolutely no use for either party, they are all traitors. As a Constitutional Conservative, I believe the Constitution and Bill of Rights transcend fads, social movements, and political agendas. I believe the Federal and Supreme Courts have violated their oaths to uphold the Constitution by changing it from the bench.

And I believe that history will show Barack Obama to be the worst President in the history of the Nation.

Assuming we have any history left after he gets done giving our last cent to China.

His theory was the guys setting flags were determining how far into his land they had to go. I agree with you. Whoever wrote eminent domain into law, just wanted to take someone's land.

I predict a swift Supreme Court decision, 5-4, striking down Obamacare en totale as unconstitutional. Because Obamacare is premised on the redefinition of the Commerce Clause in the Constitution, which a Federal court did in (I believe) the late 1950s when they essentially modified the Constitution illegally with a sweeping grant of power to the Federal governemnt, I predict further ramifications.

Almost every entitlement passed as law since then had been based on the redefinition of the Commerce Clause.

The Supreme Court will set the definition back to original intent.

So a whole bunch of entitlement programs will be in jeopardy of being sued in court on the precedent of the Supreme Court decision we are about to get.

All sorts of programs will get struck down and deactivated. It is going to hurt, but it is necessary.
