Yes, we get about 5 good months of riding with one on either end that is iffy.

But... I try to use my winters to get projects done.

I'm in process of putting SW-Motech mirror wideners on, and about to start the install of the electronic cruise control.

Thats about all I can handle during one winter anymore in my old age. LOL.

So mine doesn't spend must time under a cover over the winter. I just blow it off with the air hose from time to time.
