I'm working on my nephews shovelhead who bought extended bars. I had to measure and have Barnett make an 8" over extended clutch cable, and an extended throttle cable. Front brake cable came with an extended inner and outer cables so that was easy to measure and cut.
Problem 1: Harley is a 1" bar and the majority of the rest of the industry use 7/8" which means the switches won't fit.
Solve problem 1: Design a cut 7/8" bar to hold the switches. Better yet, use E6000 or Amazing Goop Glue to mount it anyplace you want. No hardware needed, no wire extensions needed. No damage to switch or where mounted when removed. Glued to the side of the bars and however far up for the turn signal switch, that glue dries fully, you can press the switch button in all day long, that switch won't move from its glued place.
Problem 2: Call Barnett and ask to extend the matching [14's] throttle body ends to a late model Harley throttle assembly. Harley would take a late model empty switch clam shell to house that cable end, or find a chopper style single throttle assembly and use one pull cable and eliminate the safety return. CAUTION: A sharp curved aftermarket throttle end like a 90° curve, will saw thru the 90 curve and hold the throttle open, thus the safety return cable.
Solved problem 2: Barnett shows right off with the twist of the throttle, the smooth quality difference between chinese [alleged] junk and American made. https://www.barnettclutches.com/
Problem 3: The brake and clutch masters can be had by either Harley or the aftermarket by Performance Machine.

Problem 4: The 1" handlebar mounts comes in two flavors. That would be the single mount or the individual mount.
Solved problem 4: Single mounts can be placed closer or wider across the top of the crown. The single mount is handcuffed to the fixed one piece mount of the clam shell, so the individual is the way to go. Lots of combos to choose from.

Problem 5: Extend brake/clutch cables; banjo bolt style, certain angle(s), etc.

Problem 6: The top crown mount.
Solved problem 6: Seems the triple tree uses the same part number from first gen to whatever year is shown of the other url. That too says top crown still fits over those 3 holes. There is where you buy the top crown and drill the Harley mounts and bars so its easier all around to swap.
