Slip ons
09/15/16 8:27 PM

Hi
I need some help i have 2012 zx14r and im wanting to buy some m4 drag slip ons. Apparenly the Australian model is the same as the european model?, As the M4 i think are made in the US. Will they fit my bike?. I asked Motomummy and other companys and they cannot say if they will fit. I am thinking being slip ons and not a full exhaust they would fit all countries?

I dont really want to order them from overseas without being sure they will fit

Thanks in advance

Mark

You could check the part numbers for the stock cans between the US & Australian models, if they are the same Kawasaki part numbers then the slipons should also match. According to the website bike bandit, the part numbers for the US are: 18091-0979 & 18091-0805 (left hand and right hand mufflers).

I have a spare left side m4 drag slip on at the shop. The set I ordered had some cosmetic flaws and they sent a replacement and told me to keep the original. That being said I can measure anything on it if you need me to OR I don't know what it would cost but you could try it on your bike if you were willing to pay shipping to you and back to me. I want to keep in incase for any reason I damage the one on the bike.

Thanks for your replies, I am thinking that they will fit after a bit of homework I thought maybe someone may already have been through this in Australia. The only reason I had doubts was before I brought it I saw a bloke on one at a coffee shop in Australia so I went and had a talk to him and he said be careful ordering parts as he brought an exhaust on eBay and it did not fit and he said that you have to order parts for the European model and that’s stuck in my head for four years and now I have decided I want some pipes. Maybe he was talking full exhaust not just slip on. I sent an email to some one in America today and they said they will fit a 2012 ZX1400E my compliance plate says ZX1400F which cast a bit more doubt. That s a big offer Palmer812 I appreciate it, but I will just hang out as I am hoping someone might see this post and have an answer if not maybe your offer of
measurements might be a good idea.

Yea, I've heard they sound really good, I thought someone would have had an answer for this. Frustrating as I am ready to buy. I wonder how other aussies got there brocks, and other brands as there is really nothing I can find here other than Delkevic.

Hey Mark- I'm also looking at getting Two Brothers cans. I'm in Brisbane. I'm tilting toward the M@- they sound awesome. If you end up getting your set, I'd love to come down for a look and listen. Good excuse for a decent ride.

I also love and sound and looks of the M4 but recently switched to the Brocks exhaust system which I'v wanted since it was something new/different and I've already had the M4 on two bikes previously.
