The H2 is fast, no doubt, it seems to be handling built literbikes even in stock form so potential is there. Haven't seen it run against a S1000RR yet, should be interesting. I'm with you on the facelift aspect Wolfie, the H2 is aesthetically not to my taste. Handling appears to be good, I haven't heard any complaints. To interest me, they need to restyle and drop the price below $20K.

I'm leaning towards the R1 over the 1299. The Panigale is the best looking liter made IMHO and has everything you need but Italians are notoriously hard to live with, there's a price to be paid. The R1 should be typical Jap, refined and reliable with no hassle ownership.

Passing the second time. And continued passing can be expected until a streetable R version shows itself with a face lift.
I dwarf the 14 as it is. I've seen the H2 up close and it will ache my body, numb my arms, no thanks. Kawi will always have the kingshitorquer. I'll wait for bigballs to step it up down the road some.

I blew £16500 on one of the last 1198SP's in June 2011 and I'd fell out with it by October so took a big hit and sold it. At least I can say I've had one I guess.

Intriguing Pegscraper, do tell us the full story of your Italian mistress and what caused you to fall out of love so quickly. I'm guessing spotty build quality and sky high maintenance costs caused your fling with the Latin temptress to be a brief one!

A supercharged 14R would be a titillating proposition, mega torque for the masses eh Hub?
