That white...just gorgeous.IF they had had the white one with ABS....hands down I would have gotten it....but Gold Emblazoned Green is very poppin as well....;)Your bike is sweet!

Thank you sir ... Love that green, too, just decided to keep it toned down a little; i.e. if red gets the most tickets, hopefully white gets about the fewest? (or black maybe?)

Thanks to Cornelius and jwh20, I contacted the eBay seller of the decals jwh20 linked me to and got them to make the 12" long Kawasaki decal in silver. And only $7.95, total, including shipping! I like it!

All very nice bikes.

I have trouble shooting my black bike against a pale background in bright light. The camera will pick an exposure that is too short and the detail is gone in the bike. For a white bike you need an overcast day or shoot in the shadows. WIth bright sunlight, it's either the darks or the lights that will have detail. Can's span the whole spectrum under those conditions.

Try bracketing. Shoot one according to the automatic exposure and then stop up one and shoot. stop down one and shoot. Pick which one you like best. Heck, it's digital, stop up .5, 1, 1.5 and down .5, 1, 1.5 if you want. Costs you nothing. Not like the days of film.

My Canon G15 actually has a feature where with just one click it takes 3 consecutive pics at different exposures. I just discovered it yesterday(!) and tried it inside just to see what the heck it meant (couldn't possibly read the manual, noooo), but couldn't figure out why the heck somebody would want to do that since 1 came out too dark, 1 too light, and 1 good ... but your comment makes me realize it could be useful. I'll try it some more. And yeah I realize that overcast days make for better pics; I just hoped I could capture that the sunlight hitting the sparkly white paint, but alas I don't seem to be able to capture with the camera all of what my eye can see.

Took the new bike ... Pale Rider? Ghost in the Machine? Mr. White Pants? ... to US129 aka Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway and Blue Ridge Parkway this past weekend. This bike is flat out awesome. But you all already knew that.

I have the white also.. i have white rim tape but i have to admit that red rim tape pops. Very Nice!!

okie - I like the RX-Q a lot, but then I've been an Arai fan since the early 90's. When it came time to buy a new helmet a year ago when I got back into biking, I didn't even consider other brands ... maybe close-minded, but I'm very pleased with it.

Nitti - Thanks! I couldn't decide in the beginning whether or not I liked the red rim stripes, but I definitely do now. There are enough little red things on the bike ... reflectors, fork adjusters, kill switch, etc., that it kinda all goes together pretty well.
