Akra or Brock

On my R1 I had a nice
Akrapovic. I've been seeing a lot of ppl here use Brock. Is that because of the price difference?

That's gotta be about like asking if one Hanso sword is better than another one.

Myself I'd say get which ever you like the looks of better. Also not entirely sure Akro has a single sided titanium system for 14s. Brock's has several.

I think Akra will be quieter.

People who race probably use Brock's more and that's probably why many non racers go with Brocks. Not a bad approach as long as stuff is not TOO race specific.

From Ivan's site, comparison between Akro and Brocks.

Akro is quieter so if you want loud, go Brocks.

I've been very pleased with the fit/finish/quality of my Brock's systems. They make great power and look amazing.

They are LOUD though.

To me it seems likely most people think of Brock's they thing of the megaphone style exhuast and not the more traditional "sportbike" style exhaust that look just like any other Akros, Yosh, etc.

Might want to consider Yoshimura's single sided exhaust as well

Only disadvantage to Yosh is pipes only in stainless. Akra or Brocks will weigh considerably less, probably around 8-10 lbs. No, it's not a show stopper for Yosh. I have R-77. The thing once you spend $1000 on exhaust and eventually want to save that 8-10 lbs that's where you'd better have made the best decision up front. Not that 8lbs is huge but at a point, losing 8lbs on az xz-14 could cost $10k.
