Point blank the boosted 14 is a faster bike.. I'm sure of it. The H2 with the flash is nothing to sneeze at …, but 214 to the tire can't compete with 258.... Here are some more pics of the H2s current state

The real hero was the stock gen1 zx14 keeping up with us AND eventually passing us both!

NO WAY!

Romans that H2 looks SHA-WEEEET! Carbon fiber, carbon fiber...that bike was made for carbon fiber. Still can't tell which I like better on the Gen1 H2, carbon fiber body or that beautiful dark grey chrome paint. Yu can't miss with carbon fiber though. Also sans-bags for me. Put them on when you need them.

How ya like those s21's?

So that pic of the new H2se SX wasn't yours? You went with the SX?How'd that happen.I'm confused.

No sorry for the misunderstanding. Grn that is my riding buddies(ZX14beast)bike. He popped in for a visit. Beast has thrown the kitchen sink at his baby girl. Yes it is flashed. My Bike is the Black and Green H2SXSE

My question...why aren't you getting it flashed an PC'd from Brocks?

I was going to build my own flash and offer it to you guys but Hard for me to offer up a "Honest" 215hp to 220hp Flash when others offer up 240hp. Even at 200 Dollars No One would have bought it.

Personally I was hoping to drag 270hp out of this bike. Now that I know this bike will never make that kind of reliable power I'm a little gutted. Realistly 220 to 230hp is a bit of a happy Dyno stretch.

I'm reading the Guys who install the H2R Gears with intercoolers are blowing up. Interesting enough, I have 280hp in my snowmobile and I can't get same out power out of my H2 grrrr. Both 998cc, both forced air??? Yamaha Engine has only 3 cylinders. And Let me tell you, that Yamaha Turbo is a beauty motor. Smoooooth.

Maybe build the flash anyway. I'll see if I fall in love with this bike this summer. Love the toys still. Burning Fuel is a must.

Rook Add a Turbo. It's time lol

The H2's are beautiful but....

What's the old saying.....

"There's no replacement for displacement"

Force induced 1000 vs force induced 1400

The H2's I believe already come with motor already set up for
force induction, yes? Rods, pistons, etc?

You're talking stock 14 with around 280 inducted, but with proper
build can't you get way more boost/HP then 280, upwards towards 350-400hp?

I know little about it, just thinking out loud.

The H2 models(unknown about the SE's or SX's)come ready for 1 1/2 more times ability to handle stress. That means they can be modded much more than they are from the factory without issues.Long as your not hammering it everywhere.Once they're modded in the upper HP range, they begin to follow the H2R maintenance procedures however.Which is a lot of stuff.Talking hours on parts, instead of miles.

Someday. $$$$ I still have to get the knack of nitrous and then I'm on to turbo. I'd like to get a Gen2 motor in there but I wonder if it would make much difference after it's turboed?

So...., after realizing that everything I own, much like Rick has to be boosted in order to have the kind of fun I am after > I decided to get a custom turbo kit made for my 2015 Z1000. Here are some pics of how it sits now. Today may be the day it gets fired up for the first time. Hoping for 6lbs spring.... Hoping for creeping to close to 8lbs....... Hoping for 210 to 230 wheel.... This should be interesting. World class suspension along with hulking turbo power.

Well, anyway, just something to wet our whistles > something to talk about and keep our minds from Covid 19.
Stay safe boys...

Burning Fuel truly is a sickness. Love it. Key word is Fun. If bike is not Fun I lose interest quick. There are times I wish I had not thrown a leg over a boosted bike. Or a boosted Anything for that matter. That hook I too swallowed all the way down.

Matt I'm looking forward racing both the H2 and the Z. Horsepower numbers should be close. Both will be your bikes lol. Which one do you want me on? Video might be good. On One Wheel Race.

Hey Rick, I'm glad to see you are still around! I called your house and left a message when you dropped off the forums and then called your work and found out you moved from there then asked Richard to have Matt call me to see if something happened to you. Put a scare into me knowing how you ride. I could tell you some stories about the turbo so if you're interested reach out.
I bought a leftover H2 SE and had a ZX10 header and exhaust with Sprint filter and the Vcyclenut flash and made an easy 225hp to the wheel. I have an intercooler ordered that will allow more aggressive tune and should make an easy 250-270 hp which is not bad for a sit up comfortable bike. There are too many things that would need to be changed to get to H2R levels but with the mods I'm talking about it is a really fun bike that will take any bike that isn't turbocharged. So do some realistic mods and enjoy it or keep it for the comfort and build another 14 turbo!

Hey Bob. I would love to hear from you. I am very curious what your Top Speed is now. I can just imagine. I had my car up to 320km. Not ZX14 Turbo Speeds but still fast in a 4500lb cage.

Do you still own Baby Girl? I wish I kept it.

Hey Rick, Yep I still have her but both she and I had some health issues so haven't ridden her in a while. She is completely healthy after a big scare that turned out to be nothing and me I'm still mending. Bottom line she still sets at 219mph. Have you heard anything from Capt Ed? I don't see him posting here anymore. How is your two door kitty doing? I got a Charger Scat Pack a while ago, lots of fun.

Still Mending? yikes,,, Glad you okay or should i say glad you will soon be okay.

Have you heard anything from Capt Ed?

Not a peep. But then again I have a New Email address so maybe he does not have it. Could be my fault.(rick.romans@schindler.com) I can always be reached here.

How is your two door kitty doing?

Traded in Hellcat For RedEye. The RedEye comes with stronger internals to withstand even greater Boost. This decision was a not a easy one due to the cost, but after watching my brother bend the rods in his hellcat not once but twice. Figured my turn was coming. 1100hp is the limit of the sock hellcat motor. Red Eye i'll let you know lol

Charger ??? Needs a procharger. Must have boost. i know a guy lol

Sadly Sold H2SE this weekend. Bike bike just wasn't me. I miss the torque of the Big Girl. I've been back doing ECU flashes again plus small repairs. No Turbo systems,,,,, yet. But riding the 14s again makes me want one. Currently I have two 14s in my garage waiting for pick up.

What are all you guys up to these days? I ll snoop through the the threads to see who's building what.

I'm a art teacher in a desolate Wisconsin almost ghost town. Still have the bikes. Thinking about buying a home. Haven't gotten much further on nitrous, or turbo but real close to buying a set of BST rims for the busa. Is that your real email because I might need some guidance on that nitrous timing thing we were talking about years back. Have your PM saved but I don't think I'm understanding what you explained correctly.

Romans HP will not be a problem with that red eye but treaction will. My 2016 Z07 Corvette making 960 RWHP is manageable on the street but I am running 345X19X12 drag radials. Unless it is warm and I have a good surface even with 345 rears it is touch and go. Never was into the squid thing just doing big smoky burnouts. If you are just burning the tires you are not accelerating.
