Straying a little off topic here but just wanted to report that I purchased an ECU Editor Interface from Boost By Smith (which I believe is located here in beautiful Michigan!) for $210 shipped. Wish we had this for the 14 but the software is for the busa/GSXR 1000 only. It was Woolich's original software for adjusting ECU settings and has been replaced by WRT software which is designed to work with many bikes and lacks some of the racing features ECU Editor had for the busa.
You plug the interface into your ECU and plug your computer into your interface and adjust whatever you want. The ECU is not irreversibly altered like it is with WRT software. You save stock settings and just reload them if you want and nobody ever will know the ECU settings were changed. Cannot brick, cannot block subsequent flashing. Rev limiter, top speed limiter, fans, ignition, fueling if you want, $70 for a harness to make the ECU automatically pull timing according to waste gate presssure a/o NOS, tune flies (we don't remove them on he busa), remove low end timing restriction......log data!!, mentions something about autotune capabilities....quickshifter ignition kill/gear...the list goes on....self flashing whenever I want and exactly how I want. Might not need any other electronics than my Bazzaz fuel module and self tuner. The interface unplugs after you adjust your ECU settings. I can't wait!
