Very, VERY cool. You don't do much sitting on that anyway! How long does a tank (or should we say "compartment") of gas last you?

I can't say in miles, but depending on the length of the lap, usually 4 litres will see me through a competition , which is 4.5 hours, but there's a lot of stopping/waiting around
and not a lot of high revs, but you really won't want to ride a lot more after 4.5 hours of competition

Looks like it must be a very fun bike to ride but no, probably not more than an hour for me.

Great fun, you'd be amazed how steep it can climb, we only run 4psi in rear !

It's a hill climber? I would have expected something longer. Looks like it would definitely climb a cliff.

Cool. I would fall so much but that bike looks like it could take a fall without breaking a thing.

Yep, falls happen quite a lot, especially as championship is held over Autumn /winter, makes for very slippy conditions, but majority of falls are at slow speed If the girls can do it, so can you!!

My girls would be thrilled! I don't think they'd dare as much as that though....but maybe??? no worse than some stuff they already do on the playground equipment.

Girls are actually pretty good , two girls I ride with kick my ass,,they have less tendency to be throttle happy than guys, they just suffer with a little with the really physical stuff

They're not terribly expensive but I don't see one in our immediate future. I see some used dirt bikes around here for a few hundred bucks. That'd be more likely.

used to do a bit of that before, but im too old, i have a fear of broken collar bones/legs!
theres two guys here still riding competitive, one is on his 64th competition license! hes 80, the other guy is 84!
so theres longevity in it, entry fees are 25, you would maybe use $8 a day in fuel, 2 sets of tyres max a year, usually one will do, brakes and chain and sprockets will easily last all year, its a cheap sport, i have friends burning 400/600 competing in road races and short circuits every weekend, and its challenging, never realised how difficult it is to ride slowly!! thats why it appeals to me

Sounds good. Wish I had a little extra cash. We'd have that baby out all year in the snow, dirt and mud.
