You have taste mate, which is rare IMHO. Most bikes that have been mod'd this much end up looking worse to me, but yours looks better (one of the best I've seen, regardless of colour). If it was mine I'd paint the kick stand flat black, not that it looks bad as is. Some kind of plugs for the holes where the pillion footpegs came off would be nice too.

CF Rims...drool...

How much did wheels cost you? PM me if don't wish it to be public.

What wave rotor is it on the back wheel? Was it worth it, in your opinion? I'm thinking of new rotors one day, too. Perhaps now is the best opportunity as I rebuild the bike.

Is it zx10 fender on front wheel? Was the mod easy and worth it? Did you buy as a kit from somewhere you could perhaps recommend? I'm thinking about it for airflow. And gosh that white fender was uuuuuuuugly, it's probably best mod visually speaking. ha-ha

Nice levers :) Btw, think it was a worthy mod? Levers is another thing on my mind if I can find cheap ones.

The wheels with ceramic bearings and all titanium hubs will run you over $4K.

All ti hardware and both front and rear axles in ti will be another $500.

The rotor on the rear is a gsxr1000 220 mm Galfer wave rotor- it's about 1/3 of the
weight of the stock zx14 rear unit.
I have a gsxr1000 rear wheel assembly on the bike on a 28mm rear axle and I also use
a Tokico rear caliper (gsxr1000 and Gen2 Busa)... a swap like this will run you
probably another $1K as all components are gsxr spec (without actually coming off a gsxr!)
and you'll also need some custom spacers and axle blocks machined.

This was my gsxr1000 rear wheel before switching to BST- a great conversion IMHO with
huge weight savings.

The front fender is 04-07 zx10 OPP carbon fiber (around $220) on Lyle's fender adaptors ($85)
and it's a killer mod IMHO.
You can reach Lyle here- eldubois@telus.net

The levers are Pazzos (short brake/ long clutch) and are a great upgrade.
They are probably around $175.

And this is the lightest oem front wheel conversion- the 08-09 zx10 (07-09zx6 ) front wheel.
That's the front I rolled on before the BST

Very cool, thanks for the info man. Do you know how much weight you save by going from stock ZX14 wheel to zx10 or zx6 wheel (whichever's lighter)?

Around 3 lbs.- the 08-09 zx10 and 07-09 zx6 wheels are the same, just color differences

Nicely done !

Your pictures sold me on Dubious' ZX10 front fender brackets, so I bought a set from him yesterday. Gonna get the Bestem front ZX10 fender in carbon fiber too, like you did, it looks really good. My 08 is metallic midnight sapphire blue anyway, so the carbon fiber sort of blends in.

My zx10 fender is OPP Racing, it's slightly different than the Bestem.

The bike on the left in these pics has a painted Bestem front fender.
Mine on the right (with the mirrors yanked) has the OPP.
The Bestem fender is slightly wider and duplicates the oem fender closer.
The OPP fender has more of a one-piece-flow to it.
