Jokes aside, you get more acceleration down low. It will power wheelie in 1st and 2nd with ease. You dont have the feather the clutch as much around busy city streets. Im in the inner city so it was a great mod for me.

@wfozx14...i checked with CLBAST a while ago, and they said they had a gen1 blast that was at about 180hp...do you know if your hp is any more/less than that?

sharp609 I've never had my bike on a dyno. I wish you were a little closer I'd have you take my bike for a rip and see for yourself. Huge difference over stock ecu. I think dyno numbers can be misleading, this dyno says 180, another person operating the same dyno on the same day might say 175 or whatever. I promise you Romans flash will pull hard from bottom to top. I installed a Annitori quick shifter along with the flash, makes for some serious wheel spin going from 1st to 2nd...enough to make you giggle in your helmet.

Hankzx I haven't checked my mileage. I think if anything it's better. I will check it this upcoming weekend and get back to you.

How much coin is the Romans Flash?

I paid $250.00 plus some money for shipping. I'm not certain if the price is more, less or the same, that's just what I paid. Best bang for the buck mod for sure. Really what performance mod can you do to your bike for a few hundred bucks?

Very easy to remove.

1. Remove seat and make sure your bike is OFF!
2. Remove tool box under seat, towards the back of the bike. (4 screws within box, have to remove your tools first). There also may be a small black fuse box attached to the tool box, just unclip it with a screw driver so you can remove the tool box completely.
3. You should see 2 black boxes stacked on top of eachother with quick disconnects. Pull the bottom box (the ECU) out of the holder (slide towards the front, might give a little resistance but it is just in there snug)
4. Disconnect the 2 connectors

Installation - reverse above order. And remember.... Bike always off.
