Took a couple of days to look at NE Oregon and a bit of Idaho. Let Wed at 9:30 am got home Thursday nite 10:30ish
Would have stayed in the area longer but Forgot my BeadRiders and my butt can only do about 5 hrs and then it starts getting real uncomfortable... I was headed for Hells Canyon and actually made it to the very southern part but by then I was miserable and after making a wrong turn, I wound up looking at Idaho S71 and it only went South....so I did too.. Ever hear the term Barn Sour..? That pretty much describes me as soon as I am pointed home :)

Anyway, here is a short section of Oregon 7. Nothing real exciting and since I cant pick the 14 up if I drop it, I obviously am not playing Ricky Racer..

I'll start next week a 4day-trip through the Alps :)

I think it would be tuff to compare anything to the Alps...Well from the few friends I have that have been there, Maybe traffic IS a real problem when it comes to actually enjoying the ride.?? Be curious as to your opinion..

I love that road. been riding it every year in September for the last 5 year. Sad about the fires down there last year. When I road it in 2014 had a little scare on one of those outside corners. I hit a little sand on an inside corner an shook my confidence a little and went into one of the outside corners maybe a little fast and started to go wide. Before I went off the pavement I stood it up and got it slowed down enough to not crash or go off into the abyss. In 2015 when I was there they had just finished all the road repair with the new gravel along the edges. They must have just swept it all cause it was clean and nice. Without the trees it makes it easier to see what is ahead but I like the trees better. I could see in your video that a lot of crap has migrated back onto the road. Thanks for sharing the video. I'm looking forward to hitting those Oregon roads again the September.

Sorry BigRed, no dis intended and can't speak for others but my ride schedule is already set for the year other than a possible overnighter or day rides. I am looking to add to my yearly ride plan though for next year and would be totally interested in a spring or early summer ride plan to Oregon and Northern Cali.

The September ride I go on every year down there is not my event. I am a guest with a group that does it every year. I can't invite others to meet up.

David5.. Thanks for responding..( At least we know the microphone is turned on :) ) I envy people who can look ahead a year at a time :)..
A couple of the organizations that I race with do not even have their schedules up untill Feb sometimes .

With that said, I will be racing at Champion Raceway in Medford Oregon this coming weekend July 19, 30, 2016. If anyone wants to have a cup or better yet wear /bring a full set of leathers and a snell approved helmet and join the fun !! Friday evening 5 pm until ?? and then again Sat 5 PM untill?
