What mount(s) do you use? Any video that I can see how your mount(s) work?

Grn, Good to hear you're happy with your new toy. I have a rewards/points program with my credit card and have got enough points to get a ION speed pro. I really don't know how that camera stacks up against a gopro, I imagine it's not as good due to the lower cost. I think I would enjoy filming and sharing some of my rides. Maybe accumulate video all summer and mess with it over the winter...call it therapy of sorts.

Ohlins forks,Ohlins shock,GPR steering damper, Brembo brake master cylinder/lever,Brembo clutch cylinder/lever,vortex rearsets, Two Bros carbon race series 4 into 1 exhaust,Dunlop Q3's,galfer ss brake/clutch lines, V1 radar detector, zumo 550 gps, auto com communication,PDM 60 power distribution module, zero gravity DB wind screen, vortex rear sprocket,EK zzz chain, Carpenter racing CCT, Romans flash, Annitori racing quickshifter.

"call it therapy of sorts" .You got that right...sheesh...also good to kinda watch and see how my riding is doing. That's mainly the reason I vid.But the scenery and such here is so damn beautiful...also reminds me(over the winter)just what I can look forward to again;)

Tell ya...this new Gopro is gonna be HARD to top.It also has a mode in it for film making...you add the studio stuff(colors and all)to your raw video...it's definitely professional quality(that mode)Only thing...the colors are 'neutral'..so ya edit the film as you want.I don't use that...

Also has a low light mode that corrects automatically for less than bright clear daytime filming.Works also for night filming.Very cool.

"What mount(s) do you use? Any video that I can see how your mount(s) work?"...just using(on the side fairing)the curved stickyback mount...and the small adjustable extensions(two). Also have a mount on my helmet...see if I can show a pic of em...BRB.

(that's not a scratch on my fairing there...it's a reflection.(external mic arrangement)

And a snapshot from today.

Apparently you can click on these...and it takes you to my photos webpage. That's something new.

Noticed also...the info instructions mention something about 'improved artifact handling'.Anyone who rides with a camera knows BUGS can hit and stick to the lens...ruining a good video.Yesterday...when I came in to upload my vid(s) there was a pretty large(1/32nd maybe?)bug stuck right in the center of the lens...I figured'this vids toast'.When I played back that video(s)...there was NOTHING showing of a lens obstruction...where there would have been on my other camera.I was surprised for sure.So this 'dirty lens' problem apparently has been solved by GoPro....very cool.Definitely a BIG plus.

Thanks for the pics grn. Two deals I'm dealing with are shaking in my vids and noise. I've been trying to eliminate vibration at about 3k-4k which I just feel makes the video hard to watch. But right now I'm just using some stuff I rigged up.

What I'm most intersted in is the vacuum mount for the tank and maybe a helmet mount. But I want to be able to get nicer audio too. I've been able to improve the quality of my audio, and it's beter than some ride vids I hear, but worse than others.

"Grn14, didn't you lose a gopro a couple of years ago? A leash tether helps prevent losing your camera"...yup...it nailed the road when I was leaned in on a curve...who knew?.Never did find that puppy;)Pieces...yes...but no cameraLOL!

IF you want good quality sound Vic...you need to get an external mic.As far as vid vibrations go...you have to use your imagination really...some 'setups' work well for damping the vibes(and yes...4K rpms DOES produce a resonance with the FPS on the camera). This new one isn't doing that at all;)This setup works well...a bit improvised;)

I won't be using this setup again I don't think....mainly use my chin helmet mount...that seems to work really good for getting more 'action' in the vid.The chin mount is my own improv....it isn't gonna break loose...tell ya that!

I'm sure if ya wanted to go all out...you COULD have a pro install a factory looking mic setup...hooked to the battery or something.Mine is...well...okay...not professional thoughLOL!It works!!!!

It isn't playing as well as the raw vid on my PC.Somehow along the upload and processing YouTube doesn't seem to have enough frame rate or something...IDK.(it's okay in this small screen size here...kinda.

Better on this link to youtube.http://youtu.be/3oncYdfFnnM

Reuben from Competition Accessories (Weekly Rides with Reuben) managed to mount his GoPro inside of his helmet to do his YouTube series.

Haven't been able to get hold of a GP to see if it will work for my helmet.
