I understand the bracket part of it, but I've never seen a min-max number placed on the dial ins. Basically you have to dial in between that ET range right? I guess that keeps the Harley from dialing a 9.0 and being deadly consistent.

No . you have to pick 6.0 or 5.60 nothing else . you can not pick 5.80 and have that dial in and run in that index . you would have to pick one or the other 6.0 or 5.60 and if i had a 5.80 bike i would pick the 6.0 number

Wow.. I made that way harder than what it was. My problem is learning how to slow the bike down that much and remain consistent. I'm thinking short shifts are the way to go but it'd take practice to figure out what RPM.

IMO slowing a bike down is alot easier than making one go faster. Sandbagging makes it hard to be consistent.
