So I plan on ordering the Coffman shorties pretty soon, but I just realized that I either have to leave the original exhaust mounts on or order some sort of aftermarket peg mounts if I want to keep my passenger pegs. Since my daughter is super excited to eventually ride with me, I obviously have to figure something out. I really don't want to leave the ugly exhaust mount on just to keep the pegs. I'm trying to get extremely clean in the back and all that extra metal will look junky without the stock pipes there.
I did a quick search for aftermarket peg mounts, but nothing except different pegs or replacement exhaust mounts have been popping up. Has anyone gone through this and found a replacement mount that just has the pegs and nothing else? I envision some sort of wishbone shaped bracket that mounts to the original exhaust mounting bolts and comes down to where the original pegs were placed.
