Thinking about replacing the OEM transparent windscreen with a black one. Puig costs a lot and there is a Chinese made $18 windscreen on eBay. Does anyone have experience with the Chinese cheap one? It says "ZX14 from 06 to 14" and that is bit concerning as I am not sure if the windscreen is identical to 1st Gen and 2nd gen ZX.

I wouldn't trust it to "fit" as well as the stocker or some other more expensive ones. It may bolt up, but there might be gaps where it mates to the body. Inferior plastic possibly. Clouds in the sun, optical clarity. The list goes on. Either be the ginnea pig or pay to play. All years can us the same screen. 13+ has a gauge cover so you can get away with a clear one. Previous years were blacked out on the bottom.

Puige is a good one. Zero Gravity is also good. Puige is actually made of a lightweight plastic. Tis I know by weighing my Puige DB. The stocker is not much lighter. YanaShitty on the other hand has a cut down top and it still weighs as much as the stocker.

I replaced my puig (that cracked when the bike was transported stolen) with an ebay knock-off. Fit just fine and looks exactly like a puig. and yes, I have a 2012. its the same gen 1 and 2.

^^^That looks like a good one. I'd give it a try. Doesn't look like a stock replacement though. That's a DB.

I have a Chinese iridescent screen on my 14 .Looks great, fits great and the quality was excellent. Mine was around $20 with free shipping. I posted some pics here a long time ago.

they are hit or miss. I have a mirror one that don't fit so well and the black one im running now / the black one fits just fine.

I bought the cheap Chinese windscreen, the one rod442 mentioned in his post. I received it yesterday and am very happy with the product. Fit was not problem and the product was very well constructed. My baby looks much sharper with the tinted windshield.

Looks nice. $16? You can't go wrong on that. Looks a tiny bit higher than the stocker. I agree, the dark screen matches your bike a lot better than clear

I didn't have them side by side, but I swear its the same dimensions as the puig I had. So, win win.
