Not like that, Kaw. Outside of town there was this campus called, Yampa Valley College. I went there in Steamboat at the time. That street concept of the town's Mayor, was not even thought up when I was there. He was probably a baby back then. I just remember all those signs on the roads to Steamboat, in fact, any highway you took out of another town, you saw signs for Steamboat. There would be tons of that western store sign as you were heading to the town of Steamboat Springs.
I look back now and I took an ice burn on the top of my hand; I ran that bike one more time [in the snow] without the gloves I had on before. That scare was there for a long time. I can't find it now, but say we are now in a Denver movie theater watching, 2001 Space Odd Dis Sea? Someone keeps passes a joint throughout the movie. I'm now watching these guys in space suits; touch something on some planet and then this monkey starts in; going back and forth with that bone looking at it, and the music starts in.... I am going, we are in a movie theater and this stuff is illegal we are there Stanly Crew... Back to the good old days of the Boat, cough syrup, a roll down the hill. Yeah, I lost my balance and all these stickers are coming out of my body I rolled over some bush. Picking these things out me was not worth it, and the guy that was into drinking that shit told the guy why we were buying out most of his syrup. So, he says to the store pharmacists, that we use it to catch fish, he said.
Now you can see, there were no bikes that were riding in town in my day. That time was also when Hopper and Fonda were riding that movie into history. Yeah, so say my gray matter is there somewhere is, "Eye Hail From Steam Boat" I used to say.
Bg can tell you about the seasons changing over that dogwood tree. That is your, pick any season is your calender cover country.
