Well its official, the Black Devil is stabilized(fuel), on stands, plugged into the battery tender and covered up. See you in March or April!

Sorry boys but riding is 24x7x4x12 here.
If you and your bike are ready, so is the Australian weather...

ahhhhhh, you Aussies and your weather. How I wish. It's finally going to reach the upper 40s after a week of below freezing temps. My 14 is going to start up today to finish maintenance but the streets are wet and salty. no rides happinin here.

Same weather story here in North Chicago area, Rook. I give up for the season. I usually ride into the month of Dec and high 30's for temps but this November has been one for the January book of stats and though it may warm up late next week, I have Stabil in it, battery tender plugged in, and it is clean and shiny.
Will put it on stand and finish the sealing up ceremony this week with the somber cover draping ritual.
Hurry March; that's the mantra for the next three months.
Time to riding; this season is as over as the Bears!

Here is Nor CAL, the temperature is coming down pretty quickly to mid 40's in the evening and morning. I am still riding with the heavy winter gear. It is really cold....

Mine is parked as well
They put down this nasty deicer compound on the roads here that gets all over the bike and is really hard to clean off at times.
That and I live on a gravel road that turns very muddy in the long wet season that we have here. No sooner than I leave my place and the bike needs a bath!
I have other bikes that get the nod for winter duty...

That's what I need a 650 endure type plastic bike for the wet and dirty roads. My stratoliner s stays in if its nasty because it takes a long time to polish that chrome up again, the zx I take out its a lot easier to wipe down the plastic panels but an enduro bike would be perfect to extend the riding season a bit more.

I've become spoiled since I moved to Cape Coral, FL. We ride all year long here. In fact, the winter is my favorite time of the year to ride. It's not uncommon to have the temps climb to the upper 70s or low 80s even in Jan. and Feb.
