K have registered patents for new supercharged engines. Motorcyclenews in the UK 'guess' that it is to form the basis of something around 800cc with the equivalent power of our 14's and of course a lot less weight. For my money I hope the 14 continues for many a year as, my 14 by comparison to the H2, is slow but will be more than adequate for my touring needs and I think I can manage without a 2second 0to60mph etc etc. Has the US bike press picked anything up on this as motorcyclenews also suggest it may be launched for 2017 to be sure of being ahead of Suzuki who it says are working on something similar.

Having another whack at the hyper/superbike? I guess if it's still not faster than the NA S1000, they will have an excuse because it's only 800 cc.

Nope haven't heard anything here. this is the first.

I'll wait. I bet they won't call it the H3. If you have the money for a new bike, you have enough to build an old bike faster than the factory will ever make. There's gotta be supercharged 750s out there that are as fast as a 14.

Kofla's pic is one used in the UK and Germany to my knowledge. Wording referred to use of the Z900 Retro name. Also a suggestion that the H1 name will be soon used on 'something' new that incorporates supercharging. If Mr.K reads this please don't drop the 14 it is just too damned good to drop whether for 210mph or 175kgs im more than happy with what I have!! I remember in one recession Porsche started refurbishing old/tired models to find staff something to do. If it helps K could put staff on refurbishing early 14's to sell at half the price or less of new.
If not we will end up shipping bikes to Rook as dealers wont want to know really old bikes that don't have blowers and all the gizmo's on!

A really old, thoroughly modded bike is a cool thing!
