I can't find any info from Kawasaki or Suzuki etc .. to tell me WHY they need to be replaced
in these bikes at 7500

Some OEMs put things on the service schedule that don't need to be done in the hopes that you'll decide to not do it... then they can deny a warranty claim. It's the same thing that the government does with laws...

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.”

IDK? A car engine probably sees a lot lower rpm. I think 7500 for a bike is reasonable but based on my bike's performance, I'd say you can go a lot longer.....they might be a lot harder to remove if you do. Mine loosened easy at 43,000 and I tightened them back in.

Just a quick one and FYI.
Had to get my OEM toolkit out today and the spark plug wrench pictured in one of the previous posts was present and included.

Yep...the earlier models DO have that plug wrench.2012's and up...no wrench. They show the 'wrench'...not a factory one...on that socket(I think that's what it is)...BUT...they're working on the right side outer plug(in the pic).Getting to the others is 'not so easy'....very close in there...maybe someone will chime in and explain just HOW one gets to the others on a 2012 and up.I've changed mine once so far...at 10K.

from all that I suppose I will leave the plugs alone for a bit, only done 24000kn. local tool shop told me they can probably get a spark plug spanner with a knuckle/joint that would do the job, so it seems I will need to buy a spanner first!!!

Hi All

Spark plugs?

I have this miss fire (like the bike is cold) at low rpm 1000 - 3500 (ZX14 2010) but still power when riding.
I have cleaned the fuel filter still the some.
What can be the problem should I look at the fuel injectors (cleaning them) or should I change the spark plugs.
It look like 16mm socket for the plug is that correct?
I am doing everything myself we have same useless people here is SA

I have used the OEM plug wrench pictured here a number of times on both my 2008 and 2012 with no problems.
