Okay-when I do any removal of my rear wheel,I usually repack my bearings and then install as usual. My question is-with the seal installed, and the axle cinched down to the correct position and all,is there any way to overdo the grease amount and cause it to squeeze out of the seal(around the spacer/seal interface) and out to the outside surface of the axle(between the swing arm and spacer area.(where the spacer is going into the seal).I'm trying to determine if the seal is wearing out,or if this would be normal for an "overpacked" bearing...and IF THAT IS POSSIBLE with these bearings. Both sides had some grease squeezed out,but the left one had a bit more that was coming out.Can these bearings actually BE overpacked?Just to clarify-it's NOT coming out of the seal/hub interface. It's coming out of the seal/spacer interface.I've always taken good care of my bearings-greasing them and keeping water away from em.They feel fine when I check them.Anyone know the approximate life of these bearings and seals with proper care?I read in the manual about the bearings-they do not say to grease them.Only to check for wear, same with the seals(apparently they're factory greased)so I'm wondering/hoping that it's only the excess coming out,and really nothing to be concerned about.I wiped down the right one..cleaned the grease off-hasn't reappeared since I did that(several rides ago). Nevermind...I think I answered my own question.
