Romans how are you getting on with your fuel system......Is she a runner?
Grin

Yep, Sweet for sure. Pressure wraps the needle lol,,,, pump does not have to push fuel through that tiny little hole in that plastic housing before entering the filter. Space for fuel was less than 1/8. Also No leaks around soft rubber seal because there is none.

Psi is steady up swing and is always the same. Makes building the map so much easier.

5 star mod that cost nothing and may have saved me a motor.

Spent the night making new map. I now have to pull fuel out lol. Wish I would have done this sooner.

So far Zero down side

Guys I should point out that my above assumption that the Walbro pump was a ticking time bomb was misleading lol. Sorry was a little pissed off when I wrote that.

I only know Now, after many hours & weeks searching it's not the pump. It's the pump housing that is the weak Link. It was never made to take any increase in fuel flow or pressure so it fails. The pressure I have now from the exact same pump tells all. The old set up always leaked off at least 15psi of pressure.

Small filter hole does not allow the flow we are after and rubber seal is soft. First thing fuel flow runs into is 90 degree elbows and small orifice to filter,,,,, I'm lucky I lasted as long as I did. That's my findings hope this helps. Pump is ok, I'm loving it. Cheers.

There is a boot that fits into female of filter making hole even smaller, Grrrrrrr

Ahhhhh, I hope your wrong lol.

To date it is the best I have had and am reluctant to switch to external set up. I have already bought the pump and am ready if problems rises, but to Date this is clean Easy Sweet. These pumps run in cars forever can't see why I would not have same luck,,,,, Well now that I said it boom tonight lol Dale you jinxed me.
