Fitted a SSB POWERSPORT LITHIUM ULTRALITE LFP14H-BS to the 2012 ZX14r.

No problem fitting, used small plastic spacers to lift battery to height of original. No need to use foam insert (i think they have to be a fire hazard anyway) as spacers lock into battery tray. Can use a regular car charger on these batteries so my CTEK xs800, i think thats the model number, will still be in use.

Day 1 attached the charger to the battery the morning after fitting the battery and holy shit, it is still at full charge. The original lead acid (2yo) would loose charge in half an hour! Impressive as the battery has a GPS tracker to maintain 24/7.

Bike starts great. I think my old battery was cactus because the motor feels so much smoother now, and much stronger down low. Not sure it if is me or not but the voltage is now 14.4 when riding vs 12.3 - 13.4 with the old one.

Anyhow happy to recommend this brand.

Thanks. I may be getting one if the price and the weight are right. My Shorai might have just about had it. 3 years. Not holding a charge over night.

Does anyone know if they have distribution in the USA? I would like to purchase one but can only find distribution in Australia.

There are not any US distributors I can find and this was SSB's response when I inquired about shipping to the USA:
