I finally rode one of them RSV4s and I know why my son wants one now.
Pretty dang impressive. The motor is a dream. A for handling, it feels like an overpowered 600 as far as
chassis goes.

It must be quite an experience to ride in Indonesia.

riding past a group of school kids always gets you roaring cheers, making you feel like a racing track idol
That's cool. Unfortunately, I'd have to resist the urge to do a wheelie here. That would be the end of my job as an art teacher!

Art teachers aren't allowed to do wheelies??
Haha...
They can do wheelies, As far as I know they're not allowed to have any felony convictions.
Including.....
Felony Reckless driving or reckless endangerment
Felony Driving at excessive speeds
I'm pretty sure it's like that for all teachers
Seems stupid.

Ah.Takin a break from it for a while.Finding the old joy returning with my 14.After ridin the H2 for quite a while,I was able to learn more about leaning and stuff.Applying it to 14.Kinda opened up a new level of riding for me.The 14 handles really good and I'm enjoying the change.Honestly,I don't really 'need' the H2 anymore.Great bike.Hands down. But I'm gettin older, and I need a more plush ride nowadays. No fault to the H2...it's very comfortable. For me if I was 20 years younger!lol.Sa'll good.Definitely quicker than the 1441.The 14 aint no slouch as ya'll know.

extrapolator, what brand/model of side bags? Are you happy with them? Pro's/con's? Thanks for any help.
The side cases are great, I mean really great Made by Givi. In my experience aftermarket stuff can be hit and miss, but these are good enough they could've easily been included OEM items. I think the model number of mine is V35 (ie 35 liters), and they look to be these http://giviusa.com/givi-products/cases/monokey-side/v35na-35ltr-side-case-detail although <-- those have an "NA" at the end of the model number so maybe they are a newer iteration, not sure. Anyway, no water leaks, pop on and off very easily, stay secured to the holding brackets, nicely made, and I purchased the little kit that let me key them the same as my top case so I only have to carry 1 key for all 3 bins. Oh, also purchased the liner bags they make for them; used those on our trip a few weeks ago and they're great too cuz now I don't have to take the side cases in the hotel room if I don't want to; can just take the soft zipper bags. Pro's: They're great, see above. Cons: They were kinda expensive, and hey they look like luggage! I will say, though, that I think they look about as good as side cases can look on a bike

Hey KAK...I've got the genmar and another set...5/8ths thick on there.Gens are 7/8ths.Had to buy 4 longer bolts at the hardware store. Can't remember how long.Way longer than the stockers for sure.Lines were fine.I may have had to move the brake block under the triple tree to the side...not sure.I think so.It's got two bolts holding it.So I just moved it over and rebolted one. Some red locktite.Been fine.

I've got risers too. Can't remember the dimensions but they're the ones I commonly see talked about online, Helibars I think. Maybe 1" tall? Anyway, I "think" they helped some, but not really sure. Prob did a little. I can ride around the curvy NC mountain roads most of the day before I start wearing out, sore inner thighs and sore wrists. Dinner, few beers, sleep and back at it again the next day

How many days did you stay, and where did you go?
Fri trailered the bikes from Gainesville FL to the Helen GA Red Rood Inn. Dinner, beer and BTW room 113 smells like dog bad. Red Roof is pet friendly ... and smells like it. Red Ruff Inn? Red Dog Inn??
Sat morn: Did a good N GA loop before heading up into NC: Out of Helen N on Richard Russell Hwy toward Blairsville GA, then S on 11 to 9, W on 9 to 60, N on 60 to Suches (Two Wheels Only lodge is here), W on Wolf Pen Gap Road back to 11. This is a fun loop you could ride several times in 1 day! Maybe do it in reverse order to shake it up.
Sat afternoon: Wind our way through N GA and eventually to 215, N on 215 to the Blue Ridge Parkway. W on the BRP to Soco Rd, then E to the Maggie Valley Ramada. Beer, dinner, more beer, sleep.
Sun more BRP S back to 215 again and a few other awesome curvy roads leading back W, then W on 28 past Fontana to Deals Gap. Check in at the DG motel, dump off side and top cases and ride the Dragon. Dinner and beer at Deals Gap.
Mon Dragon again to the Foothills Parkway, then S on 441 to Cherokee, one last run on the BRP, a few more lesser curvy roads and N GA winding back to the Helen Red Roof. Different room this time. Rm 12 barely barely smells like a dog. Tiny bit but tolerable.
Tues back home.
Long story to say 3 days of riding, stayed in Maggie then Deals Gap
Kind of a quick trip, so we actually didn't ride Cherohala Skyway nor the run out to Hot Springs nor a few others good roads. Needed more days. 4 might be more like the minimum. 5 is prob right.
