riding today and had this happen when i went by.
The signs we had on the expressway would give your mph as you approached and if you went fast enough, they would flash TOO FAST FOR CURVE! Of course, "too fast for curve" was the necessary speed to be at to have any fun at all.

Now I can travel much farther. Pretty excited about too. I thought about getting some hard bags but opted for these right now. They seem to ne pretty good quality plus pretty easy to take off. Waiting on one more delivery for the Contech Micro 2.0 tank bag. Be kinda neat being able to view my iPhone while riding. Grand Canyon is next! (never been there).

I hear you......fortunately rain covers are included.On my way to Deals Gap I rode under torrential rain, thunder and lightning for two hours. I had my camera equipment and my laptop with me. I was very worried about getting them wet.... not a drop of water got in my saddlebags and tailbag.
Did you finally made it to Deals Gap?
No! 
But 1 of my friends who was part of the group going is going ... this Friday! Argh!! ... cuz I can't go! 
He's already booked motel nights at Deal's Gap, Maggie and Helen GA on the way home.

Those bags look familiar. They work great, excellent choice!
I see you kept your seat cowling on Kofla. I did not even think to do that. I'll give that a look this evening when I get back home. Your bike is totally loaded up there, maybe for a couple of weeks ride?. Looks like a good back rest too.

Kofla is right, rain protection is also provided. I need to get a rain suit for myself though. So far nothing but a fair weather rider here. I see you have the hard bags on yours.

That's good to know Grn. That is my second set of those foreman grills (beginner's mistakes). Yes, they are a bit pricey by the time you add the cost of the heat padding. As for the Grand Canyon I have not scheduled it yet but am going to get there soon. I just have to coordinate it with the company I work for. I'd like to take at least a week to ten days off. Now I am thinking that those Michelin Pilot 4 tires may be better for a long trip such as that. I've got about 500 on these Dunlops now and not sure how they would hold up for a long trip.
