Aloha from Hawaii
12/10/16 10:16 AM

I've been visiting this website for quite a while and thought there's no time like the present to join. Been riding for 49 years and at 58 I've been following "chrly" from another site and truly hope to still be able to ride like him at 77+ My main interest is in drag racing and am building a new 2015 ZX14r that finally arrived to me on island last week... Aloha, Rick B.

Fordtech I am envious you are in Hawaii and a new bike too. I am in MN freezing my coconuts off and with no bike at this time. Sold my bike thinking I would buy a new one but I forgot I have kids. I have to get on a new bike this spring or I will go nuts. Love Hawaii. The best place on the planet.

Welcome Fordtech58. Truly an awesome forum. I don't say much but I do read just about everything. I have a 15 ZX14r ABS myself and I just love it. Great bunch of guys and gals here.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Haole from N.H. here, 55 years of snow up to my a-- was enough for me. I can ride year round here. We have an NHRA sanctioned 1/4 mile track that runs from February to November once a month here on Maui. It can be found at www.mrp.org wife and I still working a 40hr. week and probably won't be able to retire here. We've just decided to live while where still able to after loosing to many friends way to early before being able to "live the dream" after retiring.

I love Hawaii, almost relocated to the beautiful island of Maui in 2004. I was there on vacation when Indonesia was hit by the tsunami, those were scary times. Welcome to the forum!
