Ordered adj.lowering links

Also adj.kick stand...if I lower the rear 1" how much should I raise the forks up from stock position....Or is it necessary. Another concern I have is I installed a rear stand but feel it may become difficult to put the bike on the stand once it's lowered....

Personally , I kept teh front and rear changes the same. As for teh center stand, lowering the bike WILL affect its use. I am a small old guy and have not been able to use a centerstand on a bike for 15 yrs Just not strong enough, I use front and rear stands altered a bit to make lifting easier... There are many other ways to do the various things you need to do.. One is a very small Kickstand-like item that fits the spool on the rite rear to make lubing chain easier while traveling. I dont know the name but it uses teh bike tilted slightly onto the sidestand and this mini stand placed under the rite side spool. It lifts the rear wheel enough to clear the ground and when folded and placed in carry bag is about 8 inches long and 1 inch wide IIRC.

I guess you might be able to shorten the centerstand an amount to equal however much you lower the bike which would make it easier to use , maybe . Never attempted it myself.

Ok Found the PackJack..pretty cool little item for under 50 bucks..

I had difficulty getting a rear stand on with a flat tire / not lowered.

Well today I removed the rear stand in preparation for installing the lowering links....doubt I'll put it back on. It was a little scary using it,thinking I'd drop the bike trying to get it up and on...plus it's in the way of the install of the links. I still have a pit bull stand I can use for chain maintenance.

The pitbull rear stand was what I was referring to. It was hard to get the forks on the spools with a flat.

Borrowed my buddies front fork stand and lowered or raised the forks 1/2" this morning. The mail arrived n rear adj. links arrived so lowered rear 1 1/16". Still waiting for adj.side stand, coming from China although the stock is fine,a little less leaned over as expected but stable unless we get high winds. Ordered these short Gp exhaust from Jacksonville Florida.for $80. And are going to be ridiculously loud I'm afraid...but I get rid of 32lbs.stock exhaust.as well as center stand. I have a wood deck over my rear patio on the lower level so I installed a pair of ratcheting tie downs and use them under the top triple tree as a safety measure when using the rear pit bull. When I had my 2006 zx14 I was trying to use the rear stand and the bike had this ridiculous long appendige with a reflector on the end that got in the way of sliding the stand into position and the bike started falling and did fall to the right against a dog house that was just off the porch.. New fuel tank $700 too embarrassed to call the insurance co. Tie downs are good insurance for my 71 yr.old body...

Yes but ridiculously cheap...usually looking at 3 weeks to central Florida. Taking the shortly exhaust off tomorrow...exactly same sound as no exhaust. To me it felt like I lost a sizable amount of torque.

Decibels on the shorty exhaust was 83 at idle and a raunchy 110 at full throttle...stock exhaust back on but I removed temporarily the decorative rear covers and drilled 8 holes 5/16 equally around the exhaust tip. The decipels at idle now are 80 at idle and 98 full throttle..which is louder then I expected but has a different more tolerable tone....obviously a bit louder then wanted...these stock pipes are so library quiet I didn't expect this much from drilling ,may have to find some 5/16 sheet metal screws to block some holes.
